AudioSource Modular Separates - Amp5.1 and Amp5.3 Profile
The Amp 5.1 and Amp 5.3
(pictured above) are fully featured, high current mono power amps. With high
quality components housed within heavy-gauge steel, these amplifiers sound
as impressive as they look. Fan cooled, all-discreet output devices stay
cool while driving even the most demanding speakers. Large toroidal power
supplies and oversized capacitors ensure sufficient headroom while staying
stable into loads as low as two ohms. And despite their modular design, they
can also be used as powerful individual amps.
The modular separates come in three sizes. The .1 units fit six to a
chassis. The .2 units fit four to a chassis. The .3 units fit three to a
chassis. You can mix and match different
sized units in the same chassis. The .3 units are twice the size of the .1
units, and the .2 units are halfway in between, so units of different sizes
can fit perfectly into the chassis together. For example, you can combine
three 5.1¹s and two 5.3¹s for five channel amplification; or combine two Amp
5.3¹s with two EQ 10.1¹s for powerful, equalized stereo amplification. Contact us about EQ's,

The modular separates
series is based on the rack mountable chassis. This is the key to the
flexibility and convenience of the line. The modular units slide and mount
easily into the chassis.
The modular separates can also be used independently in place of traditional separates. Also, the Amp Fives make powerful subwoofer amplifiers and are perfect for tactile transducer applications.
