The Vlaun Series Loungers are extremely comfortable and feature frames built from kiln dried hardwood, not particle board or rejected plywood. The frames are glued, stapled, screwed and corner blocked. The loungers are supported by metal coils in lieu of fabric strapping. Also, most competitors don’t use long-lasting HR (high resiliency) foam, “assiduous” spring substrate for total support and high quality Leggett and Platt reclining mechanisms – and the motorized seat option uses German built Okin motors, also used in Mercedes-Benz autos.
The Vlaun Series leather is a full grain aniline dyed leather, with a superb soft touch and feel. American dairy cows are meticulously selected for the leather to give it a naturally even pebbled grain, and to maximize its natural hand feel. It has excellent wear-ability and added durability, due to the high performance characteristics added during the finishing process. The Vlaun leather will give any piece a sophisticated elegant look with an excellent drape and feel.
