CineCurtains™ are made from lightweight, flame resistant luxury commercial synthetic cloth offered in 2 different stock weights in black, plus a varied selection of special order colors. In addition to our standard single-sided curtains, we also have double-sided for a great look from both sides - especially useful for room dividers.

Our standard home theater curtains feature 50% fullness, 3" box pleats, "S-hooks" with grommets 12 inches on center, or "Snap-hooks" (depending on your needs), 3" poly webbing and 3" side and 6" bottom hems, plus we add a light chain in a separate bottom hem to add heft to the curtain. Recommended CineCurtain™ additions include a stationary "Valance" curtain at the top to cover the track when open and create an upper fabric "frame" for your screen setting, when combined with the main curtain area. Swag valances and other accent touches (fringe, tassels, etc.) are also available - whatever you can dream, we can create. We also can handle larger commercial needs such as custom stage curtains, plus unique environments for the event, exhibit and display industries.

CineCurtain™ Luxury Home Theater and Media Room Curtains made from 100% synthetic flame retardant polyester fabrics. The affordable "Willow" fabric in Black and the 15 oz. Curtain Fullness, Pleats and Hooks

When curtains are sewn gathered, or tied to have pleating, they are described as curtains with fullness. Standard theatrical drapes are constructed using box pleats - see image labeled "Box pleat with 50% fullness" at right.

Pleating breaks up the plane of a flat curtain, allowing it to provide more depth of visual field and block more light.

Using one and a half as many widths of the fabric used in a flat curtain yields a curtain with 50% fullness. One 180" wide piece of fabric (15') will be pleated down to 120" - a 10' wide curtain.

Using two times the length of flat fabric will yield a pleated curtain with100% fullness (240" wide piece of fabric (10') will be pleated down to 120" - a 10' wide curtain, to obtain 100% fullness. This is recommend only for light-weight fabrics used in home setting, as the stack-back (area required when the curtains are open) is excessive with heavier commercial fabrics.

Box pleats every 3" for our Encore 15 oz. fabric (every 4" on our lighter Willow fabric) are standard and provide the best look for home theater curtains. Other pleats, such as Knife Pleats and  Pinch pleats, are more commonly used on lighter weight fabrics with 100% fullness or more. "S-Hooks" with grommets provide exceptional strength for years of reliable hanging, but they look best when concealed by a valance, soffit, or in a recessed area. Optional "Snap-Hooks" can be concealed a bit behind the pleat if you don't conceal the top, but the track will still be visible when you open it without a valance.

The CineCurtain™ Track System comes configured as a Bi-Part Center Pull (opening from the center) out of the box, but can also be set to to open Full Pull to either the left, or right. The 10 foot Span has a 55 pound capacity and the 20' Span has a 110 pound capacity - suitable for both lightweight commercial & virtually all residential applications. For the 20 foot product, sixty (60) roller carriers are furnished.  Please note that this must operate in a straight line and you are not able to bend the track in any way. Shown above is the 10' track.
