​​Our CineStarPanel™ star ceiling panels are 1" deep Fiberglas acoustic panels that are covered with flame-resistant acoustic fabric. They're made with 3 different diameter fiber-optic strands and alternating twinkling and static LEDs to create a more natural looking sky. For easy installation and dependability, everything you need is pre-installed in each CineStarPanel™. Standard ceiling tile sizes for drop ceilings are also available. Our Android® or Apple® app is a great solution for controlling your star effects, shooting star frequency, and optional LED perimeter lighting - all from your phone or tablet. With our advanced control app, you have a color wheel, direct color selection buttons, fade effect and dimming capabilities for the accent lighting, plus you can automatically fade from color to color. Fiber Optic Shooting Stars

Our CineStarPanel™ Shooting Stars* add a striking interactive effect to any panel. You can even place them in parallel on multiple panels to create an incredible meteor shower effect. We offer up to a 5 foot shooting star on a single panel, up to an 8' across 2 panels and even a 12’ over 3 panel areas. You can adjust the shooting star timing sequence to 1, 2, 5 or 10 minute intervals. The timing can be changed  with purchase of our controller using our Android® or Apple® app, or with RS-232 commands . Star Ceilings with Accent Lighting

​​One great framing idea is using a standard molding around the Star Panel area to look like a framed skylight with the night sky in a window above. Our most popular effect is to surround the CineStarPanel™ ceiling area with a molding, or cove, with accent lighting facing up and into the panel area to create the illusion of a cloud horizon effect . For a sunrise and sunset effect, we recommend dimming the red or blue colors up and down. See the photo below for an example. Our accent lighting pdf gives more detailed information.
